32nd annual Marion Chamber Golf Scramble held
The Marion Chamber of Commerce held its 32nd annual Golf Scramble on Thursday, September 22, beginning with a noon shotgun start.

The Marion Chamber of Commerce held its 32nd annual Golf Scramble on Thursday, September 22, beginning with a noon shotgun start. Lunch was held from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Dinner was served from 5-7 p.m. and included a buffet of chicken, beef, sides and a roll.

The event included a lunch, 50/50 drawing, driving range, dinner, prizes, and more! Event also included chances to win ONE MILLION DOLLARS, Titleist Pro V1 Balls & Putter, Bushnell Golf GPS, $250 American Express Gift Card and $25,000 toward a vehicle!

The SIU Credit Union team, comprised of Billy Capie, Kyle Goss, Rhett Barke and Mike Lantrip, took home the trophies for the team with the lowest gross.

The Commercial Janitorial Services team, comprised of Allen Jones, Mitch Smoot, Ralph Isom, and Clint Johnson, took home the trophies for the team with the lowest net.

Kevin Wilson won the Palmer Abstract Closest to the Pin Competition and received a 56 degree Clevelend RTX 558 wedge from Kokopelli Pro Shop.

Kyle Goss won Cape Air's Longest Drive (Male) Competition on Hole #1 and received 2 round trip tickets to St. Louis from Cape Air.

Lauren Bond won Cape Air's Longest Drive (Female) Competition on Hole #1 and received 2 round trip tickets to St. Louis from Cape Air.

Steve Thompson won Farm Credit Illinois' Longest Putt Competition on Hole #7 and received a Ray Cook Silver Ray SR 200 putter from Kokopelli Pro Shop and 1 standard 5 qt. oil change and tire rotation from PMR LLC.

The winner of the 50/50 drawing was Mark Whitehead who won $190.

Greg Choate was chosen for the chance to take the Clearwave Communications' Million Dollar Hole in One shot. While Greg did not make the shot, he did hit the green.
