| September Monthly Membership Luncheon held On Tuesday, September 13, the Marion Chamber of Commerce held their Monthly Membership Luncheon at Kokopelli. The Marion Chamber of Commerce Monthly Membership Luncheon was held on Tuesday, September 13 at noon at Kokopelli. The presenter was Shannon Johnson with the Williamson County Tourism Bureau. Shannon spoke about the Total Solar Eclipse that is happening in August of 2017 and how our region needs to prepare for the many tourists expected to flood our area during that time. This was just the beginning. The state and federal grants served as a catalyst for more fiber to be built and to reach more places in Southern Illinois than the Clearwave team had ever imagined.
