30th annual Marion Chamber Golf Scramble a SUCCESS!
The 30th annual Marion Chamber of Commerce Golf Scramble was held on Thursday, September 25 at Kokopelli.

The Marion Chamber of Commerce held its 30th annual Golf Scramble on Thursday, September 25, beginning with registration and lunch, which were held from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

At 12:45 p.m., one name was drawn to get a chance to try for a hole-in-one on Hole #18 to win ONE MILLION DOLLARS at the Williamson County Tourism Bureau's Million Dollar Hole-in-One Competition. The golfer who was chosen to take the shot was Suzanne Wood with Egyptian Board of Realtors. While she didn't make a hole-in-one, she did hit a great shot!

The team that won with a low gross score of 50 was Ike Family Dealerships. Players on that team were Brian Eigenrauch, Jonathon James, Aaron Coon and Jordan Lewis.

The following golfers also won prizes: Golfers also got a chance to win $25,000 toward a vehicle on Ike Family Dealerships & Black Diamond Harley Davidson's Auto Hole-in-One competition; a $250 American Express gift card on Commercial Janitorial's AmEx Gift Card Prize Package Hole-in-One competition; a Bushnell Golf GPS on AISIN Manufacturing's Electronics Prize Package Hole-in-One competition; a Titleist ProV1 Putter and Balls on US Bank's Golf Prize Package Hole-in-One competition. While we didn't have any winners, we did have a few close calls. Scott Stine from GFI Digital landed a shot mere inches from the hole on the Ike Family Dealerships & Black Diamond Harley Davidson's Auto Hole-in-One competition on Hole 17. Gail Lannom with Priority Staffing, whose live hole sponsorship tent was set up on Hole 17, said that she has watched the competition for many years and this was the closest anyone has gotten to a hole-in-one at the auto competition in 12 years.
