Performances are held at the Marion Cultural and Civic Center.
With the excitement of the new Peanuts movie, our young Paradise Alley Players perform the Christmas story you know and love. When Charlie Brown complains about the overwhelming materialism he sees among everyone during the Christmas season, Lucy suggests that he become director of the school Christmas pageant. Charlie Brown accepts, but this proves to be a frustrating endeavor. When an attempt to restore the proper holiday spirit with a forlorn little Christmas fir tree fails, he needs Linus’ help to learn what the real meaning of Christmas is.
For added entertainment, children from the Arabesque Dance Studio in Carterville will perform their festive holiday dances. Prize drawings will be held at each show.

Tickets are $10 for adults; $8 for children 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased online at www.mccc.com or by calling the box office at 618-997-4030. Group rates are available for 20 or more tickets.
