DOORS OPEN AT 9:00 A.M.
VisitSI (Williamson County Tourism Bureau) and The Pavilion of the City of Marion are pleased to announce the 3rd annual Southern Illinois Bike Give-A-Way. Thanks to all of our partners’ donations to last year’s giveaway, the event was a great success. In an effort to continue this annual tradition and touch the lives of many children during this time
of year, we have partnered with Gum Drops, NFP organization. In doing so, we will reach over 1,600 children in the southern Illinois region. Also, with the support of local radio, social media, print, television exposure and local businesses, we will extend our reach within southern Illinois.
This year, we will be teaming-up with various local retailers who have offered a discount price on a bulk order of children’s bicycles allowing your donation to stretch farther and provide more bicycles to boys and girls ages 2-12 years. If you would like to donate an assembled bike, you may drop it off at the VisitSI (Williamson County Tourism Bureau) office and we will store it for you until the day of the event.
Your contribution is greatly appreciated and needed. If you are interested in making a monetary contribution, we ask that you submit your donation by Friday, November 21 so that we may place the bike order 30 days prior to the event. Please make checks payable to the: Williamson County Tourism Bureau (a not for profit organization) and our office will gladly send you an official Donation Receipt for tax purposes.
