All three shows are up until the end of Oct. at the Arts Centre on the downtown square in Marion. Arts Centre hours are 9-1 on Mon., and 11-3 Tues.-Sat.

We had to change out Artist of the Month for October. Jewell young will be the featured artist. She has an eclectic body of work, including jewelry, paintings, and mixed media pieces. Below is a photo of Jewell and her display. Also in Oct., LEAA is presenting 2 other exhibits, ""Falling Leaves", and "Plein Aire Partners", the annual Carstens/Morrison 2 woman show.
"Falling Leaves" consists of fall themed works by LEAA members in media such as photography, painting, fibers and Jewelry. The "Plein Aire Partners", Missy Carstens and Patty Morrison, have been collaborating artists for over 19 years, and enjoy traveling to various Southern Illinois locations to paint en plein aire. They will have paintings, fiber pieces, and other original designs on display. Missy and Patty are also displaying work together at the Latta Java in Marion, and as part of a group show at Alto Vineyards in Alto Pass Oct.-Dec.
