Event Description
The 7th Annual SIRIS Classic Vinyl & Media Sale, hosted by the Southern Illinois Radio Information Service (SIRIS) and WSIU Public Radio, will be held at the University Mall in Carbondale, next to Macy's, on Saturday, September 20 from 10am-9pm and Sunday, September 21 from 12-6pm.

The 7th Annual SIRIS Classic Vinyl & Media Sale, hosted by the Southern Illinois Radio Information Service (SIRIS) and WSIU Public Radio, will be held at the University Mall in Carbondale, next to Macy's, on Saturday, September 20 from 10am-9pm and Sunday, September 21 from 12-6pm.
Your donations are needed for the sale! Items requested include gently used stereo equipment (turntables, speakers); vinyl records, especially rock, blues, jazz, R&B, and country; CDs, DVDs, and VHS and cassette tapes; working boom boxes, CD players, and DVD players; electronic games; and audio books.
Drop off your donations by Friday, September 12 at any of the following sponsor locations or contact Jeff Williams, WSIU Radio General Manager, at 618-453-6164, jeff.williams@wsiu.org to make other delivery arrangements:

All sale proceeds from the sale will benefit SIRIS, a radio information service of WSIU Public Radio and SIU Carbondale for individuals who are blind or whose physical condition prevents them from reading. SIRIS programs are broadcast on a sideband channel of WSIU Radio and include regional and national newspapers, magazines, and books. Special radios are provided, free of charge, to qualified users. SIRIS is supported in part by the United Way of Southern Illinois.
