Artist/teacher Missy Carstens will be having a free kids' art workshop on Sat., Aug. 23. Time: 10-12. This is a "drop in" type class, arrive when you want and leave when the projects are finished. And you do not need to sign up in advance. Where: Arts Centre in Marion. Ages: 4-17 Adults are welcome to stay also. 4-7 year olds will need a caregiver to be present during the workshop. Cost: Nothing! And all supplies will be furnished! This workshop is being funded by sales from the Latta Java Artist Series. Theme: Famous Film Princesses, Dragons, and More! Students will learn drawing/cartooning and watercolor/colored pencil techniques. Also, the LEAA North Window Artist of the Month Schedule has been changed.
